M/M Good Book Reviews - 4.5 out of 5 Hearts
By Pixie

A wonderful story of friends-to-lovers filled with misunderstandings and crossed wires... Max has tried everything except throwing himself at George to get him to notice him and now, after one more last-ditch attempt, he is giving up.

This is a well-written story that draws you in with the confusion of a young man who just hasn’t got a clue about anything other than his work. George is absolutely clueless about anything going on around him and it is quite an endearing quality that grows on you... Max is a wonderful young man who has been holding out hope that his best friend would notice him for more than friendship. These two together make a great couple, as long as they both know exactly what the other really means.

I will recommend this to those who enjoy friends to lovers, clueless academics, a bit of angst, misunderstandings, developing love and a happy ever after.

Review from Hearts on Fire - 4 out of 5
By Tana

Here's a synopsis of the review, click on the link (Hearts on Fire) for the whole shebang.

I think Freddy has done a terrific job introducing us to everyone and giving us a small glimpse of their backgrounds.   The writing is excellent and his words flowed easily and I read the first 300 pages in one sitting and only knowing I had to sleep did I end up putting this book down.   I think this is going to be the beginning of a great series and I for one will be keeping my eye out for the next book.

This is a story of friendships, love and rebuilding your life. It is a great beginning of a new series and I really hope book two will be out soon as I for one need to know how David and all his friends are doing.

I have rated this book 4 stars as I found it to be a great opening in this series Finding Peace.  I am so glad I went past the reviews I viewed and began this story.  This book is about a young man who has suffered abuse, suffered a great deal of loss and then moved on to try to begin a new life.   Yes, there is one part closer to the end of the book where a tragic and horrible crime happens but the author has written it with as much class as you can when you’re writing about an attack of a person.  Freddy’s writing is more of the outcome of that situation then giving us details of the attack and I think he has done a terrific job in writing this tragedy.

I think there is some reality to this story and I suggest you read it.  It’s about a survivor or I like to say a Warrior.  I would recommend everyone to read Beginning Again.

Silver Shorts are released weekly!

Silver Publishing is releasing weekly free flash fictions called Silver Shorts.

Authors of Silver Publishing will be participating, weekly contributions will vary, and be posting the stories on their blogs. A PDF file, or other formats, of all shorts will also be available for download on the Silver Publishing's Website. To know what edition you are downloading, there is an addition number in the lower right corner (seen here as edition 2012.x). We are starting six weeks into the year, so the first edition will be edition 2012.6, and they will go up to 2012.52.

These works are flash fiction. Meaning they are raw and unedited, so please expect something fun and not perfect. The flash fiction pieces are based on weekly prompts we receive and have to work in our short fiction piece. Most of the stories will be one-shots and not weekly TBC pieces.

Enjoy our work and feel free to stop by our blogs to comment as well.
